As Lucina expected, it was a wonderful night. Robin had taken her out to dinner, where they had a nice meal and a nice chat. For once, the two had talked about their life after the war.
“I think we should find a quiet place to live,” Robin said as she held her hand, stroking the back of it with his thumb. “Somewhere near the castle so we could still visit your family of course, but… I want to live a quiet life with you.”
For once, Lucina didn’t talk about wanting to go back to her time because she was a burden to her family. Instead, she nodded and agreed with him.
“I would like that a lot, Robin. There’s nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my days with you.”

Lucina’s eyes scanned the note as Olivia finished tying the girl’s dress up. It wasn’t anything too fancy, just a light blue dress that her mother picked out from her closet for her once she found it she had to dress formally for their date.
“The colour doesn’t fit me much,” admitted Olivia, “and I think it would look a lot better on you.”
The dancer took a step back after she finished brushing Lucina’s hair and adding some colour to her face to admire her daughter.

Lon’qu had to remind himself not to pull away from Lissa when she reached for his hand. The fact that he, of all people, had a wife was something he had to get used to quickly, and the thought of having a wife was scary enough.
A husband was supposed to touch and love his wife. Was he capable of doing that? What kind of a husband was he if he couldn’t even love his wife physically?
He loved her emotionally. He loved everything about her.

It’s not too far into their relationship when Lucina notices the scars on Robin’s body, when the two were getting ready for bed. Her delicate fingers traced around one of the scars, a frown on her face. She doesn’t remember him getting too hurt in battle. He was always a careful person.
“I was pretty reckless back then,” he told her, like he was reading her mind and Lucina looked up at him. “My fighting skills weren’t the best when I first joined the Shepherds.” She drew closer to him, resting her head against his bare chest. He had been through so much.
Who knows what her lover had been through before he lost his memories?
“I want to know,” she whispered gently, “about your scars I mean.”
He paused for a moment before trailing his hand down her back. Olivia had told him that she had a scar on her back, probably from her fighting in the future. He knows she has her own scars and stories to share as well.
“Only if you tell me about yours,” he said in a quiet voice as he reached up to press his lips against the top of her head. She’s a bit hesitant, but in the end she agrees.
They spend until they both can’t keep their eyes open telling stories - about how Robin wasn’t always a skilled fighter and how Lucina had to handle an entire horde of Risen on her own, before Cynthia had to grab her out of there - and it’s only when they’re about to go to bed, Lucina speaks.
“I want to protect you.” She entwined their fingers together as she sits in his lap. Robin laid his head back against the pillow, staring up into her eyes.
It’s strange; when he first met her, her eyes held nothing but tiredness and sadness. While they still hold a trace of that, whenever she looks at him, her eyes are filled with nothing but love.
He reached up and gently pulled her down against him. She nuzzled against his neck, staying close to him.
“I want to protect you too,” he finally said after a long silence. “I don’t think I could live without seeing you smile. I want you to be happy, Lucina. That’s all I’ve ever wanted.”
She smiled at his words, letting out a sigh as he rubs her back. She listened to his heartbeat as she laid her head back on his chest and not too long after that, they drift to sleep.
She wanted him to be happy as well, and while her mission was important, so was Robin. She wasn’t going to stop until both of their dreams came true - together.

When it came to swordplay, Robin was an amateur. Both Lucina and Morgan were better than him, which led to him asking his fiancé to train him. He figured it would be useful in case one of his tomes decided to break in the middle of a battle; he could at least depend on a sword to help him out.

Chrom’s scream of agony echoed through the castle and by the time Lucina broke through the barrier that Validar put up, he was on the ground.
“Father… No…” She covers her mouth, taking a step back as she looks down at her lifeless father. How could this happen? She swore she would change the present and stop the course it was heading towards.
But it was too late.
She looks up to see the love of her life, the man that killed her father, approach her. For some reason, she couldn’t move her body. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t move it.
He lifts a hand up, the lightning cackling loudly and the glow growing brighter and brighter.
“You’ve failed,” he whispers maliciously with a grin on his face, and all Lucina could do is close her eyes and accept her fate…

Oh hey, I’m finally starting this thing. Yippy! For those who don’t know, this is my little novelization / reimagining of fe:a. I won’t be fully going by the script because that’s boring but it will stay close to the source material.
There will also be two tacticians because I figured it would be interesting. The pairs will be kept a secret ( though if you know me, you’ll know who the male tactician will be paired with ) and will be revealed as time goes on! Feel free to make predictions I guess.
The tacticians won’t have their default looks, as they are based on the avatars I made in both of my current playthroughs.

i know the two tacticians thing is probably overdone but i like the idea of two tacticians even tho it’s hard to figure out how the second one fits in but i have a general idea how that works.

“Olivia,” Chrom sighed a bit, “Don’t encourage him. Inigo, our son is five. He should be learning more important things, not how to pick up girls.”
“It’s hopeless.”
“We’ve lost.”
“The Fell Dragon has won.”
Lucina refused to believe those words. She was not ready to give up - not now, not ever. Her father would never allow himself to give up, so why should she give up? If he was alive, he would never let his team fall.
Lucina would do the same.
