Since Valla is supposed to be not!India as Hoshido is not!JapanandChina and Nohr is not!Europe…this would mean that Azura, Shigure, Corrin, Kana and anyone else of Vallite descent are Indian. This makes me happy since I’m from India myself! And no, not everyone from India is tan. Besides, Azura’s Dark Song dance was CLEARLY Bollywood inspired!

OP is either delusional or joking when making this confession. There’s nothing about Valla that is based on India, and Azura’s Dark Song dance is not even inspired by Bollywood lol. And while we’re at it, Hoshido is based on feudal Japan. Where in the world did you get the idea that it was based on China too? Seriously.

In “The Making of Fire Emblem 25th Anniversary Development Secrets, Awakening and Fates”, the developers say that Valla / Touma is supposed the be based on a meeting point between the east and the west, like India. Azura’s outfit is sort of based off of how an Indian dancer would dress and the making of book says that Azura’s movements was supposed to invoke the way the Indian goddesses move.

From the original Japanese names of certain locations in Valla, we can also see there was probably some Chinese influences as well, such as the royal castle being called “Loulan” ( obviously a reference to the Loulan Kingdom ). So, yeah, Valla is not!india and not!china. the English localization scrubs this out tho and has Valla as a Greek-inspired kingdom. As for the Chinese references in Hoshido, the making of book describes that too. It’s supposed to be a lil reminiscence of China as well, apparently.
