I know I generally dedicate my energy to bemoaning Zero’s localization (this is both because I don’t like Tharja and because fandom never talks about Shara/Rhajat long enough for me to bother bringing it up) but Shara’s lesbian support being cut was honestly disappointing. There’s a rather sweet bit of overcoming internalized homophobia where at first Shara says she wishes she could be reborn as a man so she could be with Femui, but then recants and says that she wouldn’t want that because she wouldn’t be her if she were reborn as a man and she wants to be with Femui now, not in some abstract future and not as someone else.

I’ve seen so many “if only we could be unproblematic heteros in the next life” lines in gay drama and it was surprisingly touching to see a character acknowledge the desire but then categorically reject it. That could have been a really great support.
