I instantly fell in love for Tsubaki (red hair, good looking boy, perfect outside but fragile inside, and last but not the least a name shared with my favourite flower, the red camellia), but I absolutely disliked Caeldori: I found her so plain, with a “fathercon” and too much obsessed with perfection. I like to pair upall the characters, but choosing the pity one as her partner was a very hard choice, I felt bad for everyone!

op is literally describing tsubaki??? his entire thing is hes obsessed with perfection. he and matoi are literally the same character except matoi is nicer than him

you cant criticize matoi for being obsessed with perfection without throwing shade at tsubaki too because his entire character is based on aiming for perfection

oh but i forget hes fragile on the inside…. as if matoi isnt

Furthermore her supports with her mother reveal how hard she works to achieve perfection. I think she’s anything but plain, but I am a bit biased in a sense, what with marrying her and all.
